Let's face it. You can't compete with the top teams when you haven't got a #1 centre.

These guys are obviously going nowhere.

Happy with the win and an incredible game to watch. But it felt like the Avs were controlling the play for most part and Mackinnon started looking like it was the 2019 playoffs.

We will need to be better than that if we’re going to meet them in the post season.

Wow
Yeah, Rantanen is a huge player - 6’4”, 215 and Lindholm just muscled him. And they had played equal minutes in OT so no fatigue difference.

For all the over the top praise that Cassie was giving McKinnoon all game, he played that OT coverage terrible.
Great pass by Elias but the strip of Rantanen was better, but no way JG should've been behind MacKinnon.

You play McDavid on Monday the exact same way you played MacKinnon tonight. Hard on the body. No time and space. Frustrated the hell out of him.

Phenomenal game... I did think the Avs began to really roll in the third, but Calgary were able to hold the fort.

Happy that Vladar got the win after such a great performance... Calgary's schedule get pretty compact for the next bit here, so the team will need Vladar to have a few more starts... he looked great and confidence is such a big thing especially for goalies

Dammit, I wanted to see Backlund in OT.

Oh well, I guess we won so I can’t complain…

When Lindholm made that bank pass, I didn’t even see who was getting it but I had a feeling there was a breakaway coming.

For all the flash he has with the puck, I think MacKinnon leaves some to be desired without the puck.
