Could go sideways if the Flames score another goal.

I am waiting for Anderson to light someone up and set it off as well tho

Marky got away with some not-so-subtle interference at the end there, haha.

There's a Wild fan that was smack talking me today, vowing they would get revenge today and assert their 'dominance'.

Making this one extra delicious so far!

The way the Wild have been slipping lately, there is a real chance they could meet the Flames in the first round. And they are clearly aware of it. So they are trying to match the Flames' physicality.

But they just can't compete with the Flames in this type of game.

It is so, so strange BEING the measuring stick for other hopeful teams.

It's very unfamiliar territory after the last decade and a half.

Intense period.

I really didn't like the kaprizov hit on Tanev and no call.

I’ve met fans of almost every team but never a Wild fan. It just seems weird.

I doubt that's what is uppermost in their minds. When their game plan obviously isn't working, teams often try to compensate by trying to hit everything in sight.

Coaches keep chanting the mantra, ‘Outwork the opposition,’ but it's never that simple. Working harder doesn't help unless you work at the right things. Chippy physical play certainly looks and feels like hard work, but if the other team is better at it, it won't get you where you want to go.

So I agree with you about what's happening, I just don't think a possible playoff match two months from now has a lot to do with it.

Also, monahan looked awesome that period. I he can keep this up, that would be amazing for the flames center ice position.

A lot of Russians follow Kaprizov.

So if you want to stick it to Russia, stick it to Minnesota.

Felt like the Wild came out in that period thinking they would exert dominance. Really happy with the Flames answer.

I’m stunned Kylington is on the ice tonight. Full on wobbly legs on Saturday to playing tonight.

Sutter gave him some dirt to rub on it. Little nervous when he started to defend Tanev. Then again, Lucic was still on the ice so maybe it would have been OK.

Good shift, and a tricky shot by Z.
