Glad 88 spoiled the shutout. Still had fun at a live hockey game , first one i have been to in a long long time. Nucks fans showed up and cheered their team on from the second the puck dropped, kudos to them.
Love Mangiapane. Glad he got that one for you guys.

I called out Hanifin in the last two wins. He was slipping. I thought he would get his act together for this one. He just did dumber s###. The guy really needs to stop throwing pucks errantly north from deep in the zone.

One of the toughest games I’ve been to live but still super pumped I got to see Johnny G and Sutter walking the bench. On to the next one boys!

What was the over/under on the Sutter presser length?

He said more to the refs on the ice tonight.

I think Monahan and Toffoli pair doesn't work. Both of them more shooter and there is no set up man. May be we can try Dube-Backlund-Toffoli & Mangi-Monahan-Coleman lines?

Toffoli will get settled, needs time and some different looks on lines. This is exactly why trade deadline acquisitions hardly pay off in-season. Player doesn't have enough time to get acclimated to the new team. Acquiring him earlier was smart by Brad.

I would be fielding opportunities to make an upgrade at center, if possible.

Not that I'm going to judge the team based off that game, but you want to be as best prepared as you can be for a run.

I do like the concept of Mangiapane with Toffoli, the drive creates open space for Toff to slide into. Needs a setup guy though.

I think Backs there could work fine.

Coleman, while try as he may (and try he did) has dried up a little too much offensively to still justify being on line 2.

Yes, I think we need better 2nd line C. Lately Backlund and Monahan are very weak in own zone. Can't clear the puck, making not good decision, and react quite slow for any mistake. Hope GM can do something or Backlund and Monahan gets much better when the game is more important.

I think Backlund will elevate, we've seen him do so many times.

Funny, he rarely will have a game this bad against Vancouver. He usually eats that team alive.

Monahan... yeah, an upgrade would be ideal. When you're dealing with an all-in type run, you're not ####ing around any more. And I don't know if Monahan is up for it. Even if it's not his fault.
