I'm thinking Haas is gonna break ties with UralKali as well. Can they get some sort of luck with sponsorship?

Ya, I suspect they won't have any choice. The good news is Mazepin will get dumped, and a worthy driver will have an opportunity at F1. Hopefully. But they need some big money sponsors, and I'm not sure who would be interested with the team sucking so much. Maybe the Schumacher name will be enough to buy some hype.

Seen rumors Fittipaldi will take Mazepins seat.

Is Fittipaldi still one of their reserve drivers??

I'd love to see Herta or Larson. With Andretti sniffing around, could be a chance to dip his toe in with an existing team. I'd still far prefer to see a separate works entry.

Good for Haas though, they've had just crap luck with sponsors.

I can’t find it now but there was a video on Reddit of the cars porpoising on the main straight. They were bobbing up and down like crazy. It did not look comfortable.

Edit found it. This one is of Ferrari but apparently Mercs have it the worst.

I'd lean more towards "made a lot of really poor decisions" than bad luck.

Gene Haas strikes me as one of those guys who gets rich by not spending his own money.

I got it last year; will be renewing. Didn't watch many races live so can't comment on reliability there, but replays were always good.

The main annoying thing is during qualifying when the Sky broadcast goes to a different panel you don't it (just FOM feed with no commentary, which is mildly interesting), and during a race you get audio from guys like Davidson, but not necessarily the replays they are showing.

Interface could still be improved...like remembering what you were watching and resuming where you left off.

Can you watch at any time after the race/qualy starts? I usually like to PVR them, and watch later in the afternoon.

Yes you can watch all sessions at your leisure. Like powderjunkie said you are getting a production feed so you don't always see the replay they are commenting on but the video quality is there and the convenience is nice if you don't like waking up at 5 am.

You also can watch F2 and the porsche challenge series races.

I think Ferrari might be legit this year. I'd love to see Sainz win some races.

I've been subscribed to F1TV for 2 years now and am a big fan, however its not without issues. I had one race I had to switch to Bluecurve for, because it kept buffering every couple minutes. But the amount of races I watch live are pretty low. For replays and watching the various before and after shows, it's super convenient. Plus being able to watch the archives is great. They also really improved their AppleTV app last season, and it's a great option. I typically watch via the website on my laptop, but like having the AppleTV app option as well.

The other thing people seem to talk about with F1TV is the pit lane channel, which I think is another commentary stream to listen to while the race is on? I haven't checked it out myself as I like the main feed.

Edit to add: https://www.reddit.com/r/F1TV/ - Good resource.

McLaren, Ferrari and AM look like they've made some big strides. Dunno if the gap has closed to RBR and Merc but it's gonna be a blast finding out.

That looks awful. Have they said what's causing it? Wonder if it's an imbalance between the ground effect downforce fighting with the rear wing. Also wonder if most of those forces were accommodated by the sidewall of last year's tyres.

They've speculated that it's a ride height issue for the porpoising. Just trying to find the right mark so they're not losing cornering speed and grip and keeping the ground effects from rubbing on long straights.

Can't really stiffen up the suspension I think. I wonder if this was why McLaren went for the reversed suspension set up. They seemed to have ironed it out better than most.

I really don't think they will be able to take as much curb at some of the tracks this year. It's going to have a huge effect on laptime.

If that is the case, I hope he brings Copersucar along as a sponsor. Be a nice throwback.
