That’s two plays from Ritchie where I can’t help but think Phillips would have undoubtedly done more. I know he’s passed off for being undersized but Phillips has the same determination in his game that allows smaller players to be successful in the NHL. Please call him up already and see what we have at the NHL level in him… there’s no way you can convince me it would be worse than Ritchie.

Obviously he wouldn’t fit on a line with Mangiapane and Dube but slot him with Lucic and Monahan and roll the dice on it already… we need offensive, especially from the right side, a bonus if he’s a righty and Phillips checks all of those boxes.

May as well try Phillips but I don't think he does much in the NHL.
