I put my hand to relinquish my PL seats and was unsuccessful. I have the concession vouchers as well. Brutal. I guess it was a lotto as not all PLs were successful

So do they flip it for the next game? Those who wanted to get rid of them, get to? Or will it be random again?

Emailed my season ticket rep due to the current situation to see if we could work out some sort of credit/refund. I volunteered to relinquish my tickets but was denied. 48 hours notice with literally zero resale market makes this a difficult situation. Especially given the current arena protocols put in place. In my opinion its unfair to the CSECs biggest supporters (season ticket holders). Will follow up on the thread if I get a response back.

Flames are in a pretty tough spot, they have 30 home games to play (thanks NHL) and these restrictions aren't theirs

They are doing everything they can to hold back games but at some point they have to play and won't be able to please everyone

If I were the Flames (or any team in that matter), I would refund everyone for this game and invite the long-time season ticket holders to come to this game for free. Nobody would complain about paying for what they don't want.

It will be a nice gesture to the long time financial supporters of the team and will build more goodwill.

The team already lost half the ticket revenue, losing the other half probably won't make that much of a difference in the books...

Drink a few beers before going in or hide a bottle in the upper deck of the toilet like I used to do in the 90s

I would assume so. I had a buddy who went to the globetrotters game on Saturday and he said it was brutal. Not a vending machine or anything so he said they all really wanted some water. I wonder if they will let people bring in their own?

3 hours talking and cheering will make a guy thirsty. I can’t think of a time I have been in the dome where I dodo t at least have some water.

F-ing stupid.

When you have a stadium full of people and aren't supplying water for 3+ hours, it becomes a health hazard.

I dont mind your idea, but are all season ticket holders considered "long-time" ticket holders?

For those that cant attend a live sport without the accompaniment of alcohol, maybe you could consider something like this?

My ticket rep emailed back. Not surprisingly, I am SOL.

"Unfortunately we cannot relinquish any additional tickets at this time."

As mentioned below, it might not be totally up to the Flames. League wide HRR may come unto play.

I'm disappointed and annoyed. I have a schedule confliction, so need to sell the tickets, but the market is basically zero.

Also works great in case you need clean urine for a job interview, wash thoroughly with soap and water in between uses.

How can it be a health hazard if it doesn't cause COVID? Everybody knows there is now only one disease.
