Anything but Greg as CEO works for me. Speaking of GOT season 8 we do not need another Bran as King situation. Everything has been setting up for Kendall to become Logan, one year after saying he isn't him, he's better than him. I imagine it'll be a dramatic final board meeting, where the x-factor is whether Roman even makes it. I could see it where it's tied with his vote hanging in the balance, but he's either died, or he's in the wind somewhere. I could also see Stewy screwing Kendall as the tiebreaking vote.

I think it ends with Matson out of the picture and Ken CEO. Roman and Shiv remain with the subtext being this fighting won't ever end. Gregg gets fired by some nobody.

So in the end the Roy’s are wealthy but lost their fathers company the day after burying their father and their fathers enemies win.

I have been under this belief for the vast majority of the show. None of them are (1) deserving and (2) capable. It would make sense to have the company sold off and stripped of its parts - which can be common in these situations.
But, yeah, i think the likeliest scenario is Ken taking it. They have certainly ramped up the Ken=Logan motif this season and it makes alot of sense.

I don't really care how it ends to be honest. I just like the machinations of each character and how the world constantly beats them back down.
I just wanted to mention that Kieran Culkin had an amazing performance when attempting to give the eulogy. He does so much with this character that I can't imagine another actor even attempting it, let alone pulling off. His face when listening to his uncle's "eulogy" was very nuanced and expressive, and when he broke down giving his speech it felt incredibly authentic. He's my favorite part of this show every single week. Well, him and Cousin Greg.

Greg's (mom?) shaking her head at Ewan Roy then mimicking her was pure Greg. So funny.

Not ready for this show to be over for good. Feels like the show is firing on all cylinders and could easily put out one more season and not jump the shark.
I need one more season.

What would they do with it? You want to see the siblings fight amongst themselves for 5 seasons? It feels like it's time.
I am glad that it's a 90 minute finale though.

It's rough that Succession, Barry and Ted Lasso all end for good next week. I'd be hard pressed to come up with a current series I'm more into than any of those.

Once Tom ate Logan's chicken he was always destined to be CEO. Shiv unwittingly giving Mattson a recommendation for Tom as CEO was pretty funny, telling Mattson that Tom is the ultimate puppet got him the interview, and Tom passed with Mattson saying he wanted to #### her, showed just how soulless and easy to control he would be. And even though Kendall might have taken the biggest loss, I think Shiv is the biggest loser, her fate is to become like her mother. Roman might be the only winner because he is free. Not even sure I can say Tom or Greg are winners because they continue in their bleak cycle of misery, just at a higher pay scale.
I think ultimately the most impressive thing about this show, and this season in particular, was that despite virtually all the characters being completely irredeemable you were still emotionally invested in their outcomes. So it honestly does feel fitting, and actually kind of good, to see almost all of them lose. They weren't good people, giving them some sort of happy ending would have been cheap. They all pretty much got the ending they deserved.

The last scene with the three was lost on me - was Roman referring to Ken’s kids being adopted? Was there a donor? Was Ken not able to father children?

Will miss this show dearly. Could be the end of an era as I can't really think of any current HBO shows that will fill this void.

his daughter is adopted, and Roman's implying that the son might not be his. Even if it was, Logan showed disdain for him being on the spectrum.

I liked the finale.
We need a spin-off with Tom and Greg.
Those guys should go on tour.

Fuuck this show is a to hell. Forget about every self absorbed element about it. Spoiler alert, a right wing entitled, abusive white guy won. What a story. Feel super bad for all of the other white actors that escaped with multimillion dollar parachute clauses. I pray for them
Edit.. And fuuck their music too
