Everything would've turned out differently. Maybe we never draft Tkachuk? Maybe we win a cup? Who knows? It sucks it didn't work out here, mostly poor coaching imo, but it's done. Hopefully they learned something and Bennett continues to crush it

Yeah it’s hard not to be happy for the guy, even if they are the canucks. Redemption stories in sports are fun to watch.

MA Fleury lasts 11 1/2 minutes in his scond game with the Hawks....gives up 4 on 10 shots.

I think hirsch is in some kind of, presumably one sided blood fued, with jaro halak

Hes criticized everything hes done

Rebound that halak pushes to the corner 'oh hes struggling'

Goal on a deflection halak had no chance on 'oh I can tell when hes not at his best, since I coached him in st Louis, for the blues, and hes not at his best'

What did connor run in a 4 2 3?

Is his training plan is 4 minute runs or four hour runs?

He has 6 years left on his deal...I think the "worry" is that he is massively overpaid with that amount of term left

Exactly. It's not like it's a Duncan Keith situation where he's over the hill, it seems entirely plausible that OEL would re-gain the step he needs to be a solid defenceman, even though he's obviously not elite anymore. The problem is when he inevitably loses that step again next year or the year after and he's still being paid over 7 mil until he's 36.

Wasn't MAF planning to retire when he was traded? What did I miss there.

That was just him being upset with having to find out about it after the deal was already done. He got talked out of the retirement thing pretty quickly. Though maybe he should have stuck with it.

Oh god, please make him stop!
I heard that if you say his name 5 times in the same thread, he appears in your house and kills you by boring you to death with his banter.

Wait, is he a real-life energy vampire?

He was taken aback by being traded, so did consider it, as per some of the reports. He did decide to play, though this is supposedly his last season.

OEL will be more productive over these next six years than Darnell Nurse.

Just a feeling.

I think so too. I actually think OEL will be worth the remaining of his contract now that he’s gotten out of Arizona.

18 points in 12 regular season games for Florida. In. Sane.
