It would sure be nice if the Flames outshot their opponents in the first period once in awhile. Shots 11-1 for the Jets halfway through the first.

Flames have been totally dominated so far. Like and ECHL team against the Western All Stars. Vladar is the only reason this isn’t about 5 nothing. Flames haven’t had a single quality scoring chance, or even the threat of one.

How many instances have the Flames been badly outshot this preseason? I feel like I’ve seen 10 to 1 a lot. I thought Darryl was all about shot suppression and directing heavy volume of shots to the net. He can’t possibly be ok with this type of play this late into the preseason.

Calgary should just catch an early flight back home, they aren’t putting any effort into this game, might as well head for the exits early.
