Controversial Takes:
-Hockey nets should be bigger. Goals = exciting. Goalies and their equipment are bigger: making nets bigger is the obvious and easiest answer.
-Pushing, shoving, facewashes after the whistle needs to go away. In any other sport -- NFL, NBA, MLB, Soccer -- it is an immediate ejection for unsportsmanlike behaviour. In hockey, we accept this as part of the game, and, depressingly, it evokes the largest cheers in a game. It is WWE level of behaviour.
