He does, but he also gets called a lot for things that shouldn't be penalties because he is big.

He's not that great on the pk
He kills offense, is mediocre defensively, but is big I guess

Ehhhh...this is iffy, at least from his time with the Avs. Again, great at stopping the rush, but his ability to break the puck out isn't always there. I actually think he would do well paired with a guy like Tanev who has such a good read on the defensive side of the ice.

Couple people mentioning the Lucic Zadorov thing as a possible issue. I think it will be great for Zadorov. Lucic is a leader on the team, Z will know that he's got his back now. Will allow Z to play that hard style he is known for, with the extra confidence and guidance that a vet like Lucic can provide.

hopefully it is a one-year show me contract, so both sides can assess before an extension next year
and hopefully a 3rd
But I really like this - solidifies the top 4. Better choice than Edler, IMO. Now we just need to get a one-dimensional offensive Dman on the cheap (a Yandle type)
