So Larsson is sane. That’s good, because the Oilers thought everyone and their dog would take discounts after RNH did…. At the expense of 8 years.

I guess it depends if Larsson would be willing to sign that contract with Seattle. If he is, then that would be I direction I would go. Maybe it's a sign and trade deal like Driedger.

A real chance Barrie returns? The Oilers will have to throw at least $7M a year to get him to think about coming back.

A bunch of Oiler Fans that understand the heavy lifting on the defensive side Larrson did are going to be rocking back and forth in the fetial position this morning. This just opens the door for a massive overpayment in the UFA market. We know how well that went last time, they still have 2 years of Sekera's buyout on the books.

They worked hard enough, the problem is they didn't protect him so they couldn't put pen to paper until after the expansion draft. All that hard work out the window.
