This is pretty fun to watch even as a non-Avs fan. They are a damn good team

This game is a perfect showcase of how much better Mackinnon is than Mcdavid right now. Same type of highlight reel goal because of his speed, but the snipe on the pp and vision on his assist shows how well rounded he is.

Better question is how do you get a guy like this? Will we ever?

Colorado can play the lower two lines more heavier now and have their top guys fresh the next game. This could be another sweep for them.

Avalanche just an embarrassment of riches... That's how you build a championship team.

Not sure how anyone can watch this and still proclaim McDavid a better hockey player than Mackinnon.

I mean offensively, sure, CM has a slight edge but not much.

Every other facet of the game though? Mackinnon and its not even close.

The guy is a complete freak of a player.

He averaged 20:22 a game this season. Less than 21 minutes, the last 3 seasons.

MacKinnon is up there but individually if there's one guy who you want to score or create an opportunity, I'm still going to McDavid. I'd say that MacKinnon is 90% of McDavid, personally.

Of course, offence is only one part of the equation.

Tie game in OT?

Who is more likely to make a lazy play to cost your team the game?

Give me the guy who can find that extra gear when it matters the most over the guy who chases points
