It has?

You're going to have to explain that one. If you mean drafting small players who score at the junior level, then mission accomplished. If you mean drafting players with an NHL future, then the jury is still out with things not looking so good. Seriously, of the 2017 draft class two of the five players drafted were not offered contracts and one more looks like he won't turn into anything. For 2018, two of five are not going to earn contracts. That's a pretty crap batting average. The 2019 draft class isn't looking much better. Fortunately they caught a break with Wolf in the 7th round, or we would be looking at that class as another big WTF moment.

Yeah I’m not sure what this team has done to be considered a top notch drafting team. Is it better than it has been in a long long time? Absolutely. When compared against the rest of the league during Treliving’s time...I just don’t know why it’d be considered top notch.

Mangiapane and Fox were great picks, but I don’t think there is much else that is impressive.

I still struggle with the fact this team has drafted the fewest amounts of time in the league in the top two rounds over the last three years as well. That’s baffling.

Nine of the ten players drafted in 2017-18 were selected after the third round. 4/9 players under contract, who were all drafted after the first 100 picks. I would say that is actually fairly impressive.

Buddy Robinson is playing in Leivo's place.

I hope he trucks someone at least for entertainment's sake.

I hope Buddy steam rolls a few defenceman....Weber needs to get shut down as the media has stated he's been playing his best lately.

Without Gallagher and Price they're lacking a bit in the heart department.

Keep fighting Flames ....be very physical , be nasty. If the Flames can match what the Habs bring well be okay.

If we fold like cheap.tents .....oh boy.

Off topic but I hope Leivo will be okay . Glad to hear Pete L is back on the radio after having the variant .
