So unfortunate that the other teams have been watching the Flames too.
Shouldn’t be riding that “value” to the bottom.

Time to cut bait.

Sutter mentioned the “dopey high stick” penalty in the first... can’t remember who it was... Backlund?

What can you say.

Marky shooting it over the glass after killing off the first of a Lucic double minor is pretty much indicative of the entire Flames season. Just endless mistakes compounding over and over and over.

The "top" line not getting the puck deep for a line change, but still goes for the wholesale line change, leading to Connor's goal. Absolute BASICS are being neglected by this team. Obviously teams are going to capitalize against teams that don't even execute the fundamentals of hockey.

The game was lost the second the puck was dropped tonight as clearly they didn't come to play.

Johnny Gaudreau fired up and skating with determination after getting smoked, where has that been for the last 8 periods?

I honestly cannot believe this team has 15 win.

Lindholm, our Patrice Bergeron, was the one who took that penalty. He was also the guy who did not get the puck in deep on the Jets second goal.

Blow. It. Up.
All teams people expected to be terrible this season. The Flames have to be considered the biggest disappointment for sure.

That’s fine. I’m okay with that.

They’ll be better on the outset of borderline just about any trade at this point. I don’t expect many people will understand why. That’s also okay.

Loubo calling Nordstrom hardest working flame makes me think that Bennett and Tkachuk must bully him and wills on the team plane.

I watch basically every game.

Thought he was decent against Ottawa when he scored the lone goal.

Monahan -> trade him for a solid prospect, hopefully before April 12th to maximize draft position in 2021.
Backlund -> do what you can to get rid of his contract

2021/2022 --> Bottom-5 team, and take your shot at drafting Shane Wright.
I would extend the bottom to 22/23 and draft Connor Bedard. Open the new building in 2024 with Wright and Bedard.

Bennett didn’t take a penalty tonight.

...he actually was one of our better forwards tonight, which really isn’t saying much.

They could barely even execute an organized zone entry with a 6 on 4. Jets were still beating them to pucks.
