These are ok - the away whites are the nicest.
I get not suspending the guy (too lazy to look up spelling that name) due to the optics of the whole thing. Kind of irks me that he gets off now as a player with "no priors" because of it. Guess he owes Ritchie an ironic thanks.

Khaira was suspended a couple years ago, I forget when those drop off of the record.

If the Flames win, it will feel like a new season has started.

The Flames have taken five penalties in 180 mins of Sutter-hockey. I think there were individual periods before he was hired in which they were penalized this often.

I thought Rittich (90.3%) had a better career save percentage and win-loss record against the Oilers than Markstrom (90.4%) does, but actually they're about the same.
They've both struggled against the Oilers this year. Rittich a little better.
Rittich is great against Toronto (93.75) and Winnipeg (94.0%).
Markstrom is great against Montreal (92.9%) and Vancouver (93.5%).

Plus all that cap savings when he's on the taxi squad! Clear trade win for the Oilers.

TBF, the Flames have had Edmonton’s number during Rittich’s career, and I don’t think the same can be said about Vancouver v. Edmonton.
I also don’t know that Markstrom’s 2 losses to Edmonton are on him. I think he was hurt in one and played OK in the other (his first game back, too).

They all suck but those are by far the least ugly of the oilers jerseys. Those dark blue with orange lettering things are disgusting.
In that picture the jersey looks worse because of the caveman wearing it.

They want him back because they can relate to the knuckle dragging Neanderthal.

In the words of one fan, "He brings the last, final element to the puzzle and especially these type of games. What a presence."

They know kassian is the heart and soul of their team. He's the only one easily influenced enough to get pumped up after the inspirational Connor rallies with "let's go"

Come on now. They aren't setting the world on fire but they're hardly playing that poorly.

I have a good feeling about this game. I think they have a lot more to show than they showed us last game and predict a 5-2 win. Go Flames!

I desperately hope they win tonight so that I can send a chiadenfreudian text to my Oilers-fan buddy. Please, hockey gods: reward me for my restraint after last game's silence.
