Leafs nation was for me the most insufferable time as a sports fan in my life. It’s bad enough watching games at 10 pm out there only to be told ‘LEAFS NATION’ when you bring up any other team lol. Tkachuk's emotion after the game ended didn't really help though, did it?

Monahan and Gaudreau combined for 2 goals. Tkachuk was a no-show following a media controversy yet again.

Let's see the next meeting. Combined for goals sure. I just dont like Johnny can't play a physical game period. I counted 17 times a bigger stronger winger of his skill could have created more chances. Johnny bails alot on plays because of his size. The goals are nice in regular season so far but he can't at a full 200ft game . He cant defend on out muscling players and cant gain possession that way either. Unless he's left alone he dosen't create much. The only emotion I see is when he misses a good shot. Nothing else to right home about. Tkachuk got mad about a very disrespectful play Johnny has been hacked and slashed to hellin the past and shown very little emotion compatible situations. Mangipane is about the same size and is so much more feistier.

Johnny was amazing the whole game. Probably could have had at least a hat trick if the pass (from Monahan I think) was a little lower.

I didn't even notice Tkachuk the entire game until he had his tantrum. And that tantrum was 100% because Tkachuk was disrespected. It had nothing to do with the team. Slamming the bench door on your captain is a great example of how much this guy cares about his teammates.

Also, screw the Leafs. 60 friggin years they’ve been about as irrelevant as Winnipeg, yet their fans are still just as obnoxious as ever. How’s this season gonna end? Same way it always does, with them taking a seat right alongside every other loser in the world.
