I don't know how anyone can say Zary has a footspeed issue. I don't see it.

Zary is an awkward skater, but he seems to keep up with the play alright.

Such a one sided beating, but to only be 3-1 is scary. Another goal by the Finns and the Canadians will be puckered right up tight.

I can definitely see it, he has some work to do, but it's not that bad-he can improve. He has decent top speed when he gets his legs pumping, but he does have a habit of coasting at times. His smarts make up for some of his deficiencies.

Canada lucky, again, no penalty called there.

Yeah, I can't say the officiating has been great.

Yeah, it's what I was harping on in the Zary draft thread. Several places said he has an awkward stride, and that quickly spiraled into the idea that he's a slow and downright bad skater overall.

Many places summarized him as having good speed, good acceleration, and good edgework... but the stride is awkward or inefficient. Sounds like a good skater that will only get better.

Broberg is in the lineup for tonight's game. It's an interesting choice, given Mark Spector's comments about him playing on only one leg last night.

Their goalie is getting tricked.

Does ‘Broberg’ mean magnet in some sort of ancient Nordic language? (Or possibly band-aid)
