Treliving better not sign Hamonic as a panic move

4 years with a $5 million AAV is a damn good contract for the Leafs IMO.

Wow.

Meh. It’s time for a change. Good luck to Brodie but I’m actually fine with moving on to something different.

Good contract for him, too bad the Flames couldn't get it to fit

Is that even an option? Hamonic might have a .01% chance of coming back here.
Well maybe if he took $1.5mil or less.

That would be a contract dump I could get behind.

I liked Brodie but hopefully Treliving sees this as a chance to make a change and has a plan.

Sad about this one, been a big Brodie fan since I saw him play in Abbotsford during the 2012 lockout. He was so clearly the best player on the ice, got me excited to see him back with the big club, and he always played better than he usually got credit for.

Awesome. Could not be happier for him to get a big pay day and be closer to where he grew up. Great Flame, under appreciated. Too bad Treliving couldn’t re-sign him.

$5 million is not crazy but still a bit more than I would like to see for what I see as a guy that doesn't really excel at a high level at any facet of the game.

I’m kind of mad about this. We couldn’t have offered that?

TJ went out and got himself a pair of #1 centres.

Farewell Brodie, you were a class act and a great player to watch.

Sorry you won’t win a ring.

Was pretty obvious for me this is where he would end up. Best wishes TJ.

Brodie is a better dman than Barrie.

He had the odd game where you wondered what the hell he was thinking and that would get focused on.

But 95% of the time he was as steady as they come.

I think you’ll see him get more recognition league wide in Toronto now .
