This was discussed a bit in the NCAA prospects forum, but to me, it just stings a bit that they felt the need to take this guy in the third round and leave D-men the likes of Jurmo (2 spots later!),Benning, Nickl, Loof, etc, on the board-not to mention some of the forwards that came after. If they liked the kid so much, they could've taken him in the late rounds. I do like Chechelev, Poirier, and Kuz though.

Points =/= quality of prospect. Players are selected for a number of reasons, and the guy's ability to keep pucks out of his next is a huge skill that get's greatly ignored. Give the kid time and let's see what we have. We picked a kid that can't defend to save his life, but puts up a ton of points, so they went the other way and picked a kid that doesn't score, but is great at keeping pucks out of the net. You need both. Let the kid develop before ####ting your pants over what we missed.

Ha. They could have written this the day after the draft about him. Give him time, etc etc. The guy doesn't seem like a good pick albeit not exactly a first rounder so no biggy.

Flames have made a few lists for being sneaky good in recent drafts, especially given their lack of picks in a few of those weekends.

Finding Andersson, Kylington and Mangiapane without a first round pick in 2015 was solid.

Parsons, Dube, Fox and Phillips in 2016 (not including the no brainer Tkachuk pick)

Ruzicka looks like a great pick in 2017 (not including Valimaki), solid draft for only five picks.

Both 2018 and 2019 are still early, but some interesting picks in the pipeline.

Many had Calgary doing one of the most effective jobs in the 2020 draft.

6 points in 9 games, is that good?

Do you mean it was possible that the people on here who probably didn't watch him ever play, compared to professional scouts could have gotten it wrong? thats a pretty wild take!

It’s good…at least more than expected.

Yes it is possible, scouts have been wrong all the times.

Imagine can’t have opinions on GM and scouts because they know it all

Maybe ask Bingo to shut down this site?
