No way Gaudreau should be on the ice to finish out the third. Just a terrible decision. Also a bad decision was playing a struggling Giordano more than any other Flame.

Ward sucks and is in over his head.

Ugh, I would be less fired up if they didn't almost get it to OT.

Dallas deserved the win. Saw that goal coming from a mile away with the awful clearing attempts.

Not even mad, stuff happens, and it was likely to be a back and forth series.

Stars get away with a ton of hooking and holding and outright tackling.

I doubt we see MT for a while, he was wobbling pretty hard.

Flames will respond tomorrow, I don't question their fight or heart and desire.

He would be unprotected anyway, what expansion team is going to take a geezer?

What blows me away is we didn't play very well at all. Had some bad calls go our way by the referees and we STILL nearly won this one.

I have faith. This Dallas team isn't better than we are.

It’s not about sweeping a team. I don’t think most people mind losses if they team looks to give a damn. The team doesn’t. Maybe 1/2 of the players do.

I dunno, I was happy to see them battle back in the 3rd and score two. Sucks to have a lapse like that, but I'm focusing on the positives.

That shouldn’t take you long.

Gaudreau is averaging the 3rd most ice time amongst Flames forwards.

Lucic, Dube and Bennett rank 7th, 8th and 9th, respectively.

The #####.

Great start to the first, great hitting and physical first period. Feel short/tired/dull in the second but great rally in the 3rd. They know we aren't going to fall over and die- we are contenders. This is what the playoffs are about. Good entertaining game- now lets have a blowout tomorrow.

Woof, Johnny. Abysmal defensive awareness in a tie game late.

Johnny No-sheau. How many seasons are we going to let him kill us in the playoffs?

Johnny can put up first line points yes, but he’s not a 1st line player. If we’re looking to him to take us to the promise land at this point it’s more on us then him.
Phil Kessel is a physical player and is excellent in the post season.

Meh not upset, a questionable penalty against Gio that leads to a goal, Talbot let's in a softie and we had a goal called back.

If they play that way (and if anyone can give Johnny something to wake up) the rest of the series, its a flames win.

He's fine in the playoffs... as a powerplay specialist.
