Not sure it's entirely new...

you have the Brent Sutter dump and chase and chase and chase
you have the Glen Gulutzan D to D to D to D to D to D to D while rolling all four lines
you have the Jim Playfair lame duck assistant that has no one's respect

All that's missing is for some talented guy playing 4th line for us to be let go and proceed to become a future league MVP or some current team star to be traded for a bunch of nobodies and go on to revive his career and you have a Craig Button Nostalgia Trip.

Treliving has a lot of misses with his contracts and trades.
But yet, many think he is one of the greatest GMs ever because he traded a norris calibre dman for a top six forward and another dman who just got demoted to the third pair.

Nice to see Gaudreau get one, but you still have to wonder what's going on with the sudden drop off with him and everyone else. Is it devastation from last year's playoff exit? Like a total loss of confidence?

Glad to see Stone in the line up over Kylington.. can't wait to see what the roster looks like after the trade deadline.

Rumour also has it that Hall's signing in Calgary as a UFA

I think he's going to go for one last kick at the can.

If you're a shoo in to get Hall for no assets, then you damn well better make a face lift or two in other areas of your roster, because otherwise picking up Hall will mean very little and just be redundant.

We need more players that are willing to play the 200 foot game, are tenacious and will lean on opposing players out there.

We'd have a good looking top 6, but it'll mean nothing without some heart and character to drive it.

You may be right. He will make a few moves to save his arse. If they work, great... If not, who cares as he probably be around anymore. The latter scares me as he will probably leave an even bigger mess for the next guy to fix.

Is it Tre or ownership that will call the shots here and say make the push to the playoffs.

How does anyone have faith in this team?

If treliving doesn't move some assets by the deadline I hope he's fired on garbage day. His tenure as gm is about as exciting as feasters, lol.

I don't want to see any player swaps until we get a legit coach, unless a too good to be true deal comes up which it won't.

Yeah, this team was great under Peters.

I don't mind if he tinkers a bit, maybe add some draft picks, but this team is in a bad spot and other GMs know it. The time to really make big moves is in the summer. Tough spot right now though, as crappy as they are, and as big of 1st round fodder that they are, you can't really sell the farm if you're in the playoffs. If this team misses, and it easily could, I hope they are in a free fall before the deadline just to make BT's decision easier.

I don't want any hockey trades made, or the hiring of another coach till we have a new GM.

Sorry I meant expiring assets.. We shouldn't be keeping hamonic for a lengthy playoff run.

That's being dumb, and just not facing the reality of just how below average this team is.

There is urgency in the teams vocabulary.

Missing the playoffs is not an option.

Poor effort, poor execution, poor coaching. Just another regulation home loss, no regulation wins in their last 7 games. Barf.

And for all the hype the BoA has gotten these last few weeks, I wouldn’t be surprised if both teams missed the playoffs this year.
