I think it would take just one good chirp on the way by Smith to really piss him off.

Smith sucks to the point that even the lowly Oilers, who are no good, can’t trust him

Heck, Lucic could just smile and wave from the playing surface as he coasts by Smitty, sitting on the end of the bench.

Truthfully neither side owns "realistic", and they likely have a bias.

Both groups an important part of a discussion group because they keep the center established.

I honestly have a tough time shooting down either side the way the season has gone to date. This is a frustrating team to watch at times, so you never really know what you're going to get. Luckily they are playing a team that has gone more Hyde then Jekyll of late.
Well put. And both sides are fans.

I’d add that while I understand occasionally being put off by fans that sound overly pessimistic or negative, the way to change the tone of that discussion isn’t to be insulting or attacking which just creates an even more negative dynamic.

If I was the coach Rinaldo would be in the lineup with the sole purpose of knocking out James Neal’s ridiculous fake teeth.

A one armed Mangiapane could probably easily pull that off.

I’m gonna call Backlund and Bennett with at least one bad penalty each. So there’s two goals against. Going to need 5 to win probably

I'll go with Backlund and Frolik on the bad penalty front, with Bennett putting in a strong performance for the BoA.

I think the Flames have more trouble with teams that pay heavier than the Oilers. I also think the Oilers will take lazy penalties and if Calgary can play the pp like two games ago they will take advantage.

Calgary has better D and goaltending period. Calgary is deeper. If they can contain McDavid, they win.

Flames will win.
McD with get at least one penalty shot of a bogus ‘slash’.
Kassian will be caught looking like the doofus he every time he’s on camera.

GFG.

Interesting to read on the other board just how low expectations for that fanbase is as well. They are certainly expecting to get spanked and I don't blame anyone for feeling the same here. Their GDT OP is hilarious btw.

However I like our chances if they stay out of the box and can shut down McDrai. A shame Smith isn't in net, would be a good battle to see all players who switched sides go at it at the same time. One team gets to come out on top, let's hope it's the team in red!

Hoping for a goal by Lucic. That would be crazy.

Flames should win. But my trust level with the 2019-2020 Flames is low.

Rinaldo should 100% be dressed for this game.

All I want is for James Neal to get lit up by someone, preferably Lucic.

I echo most of the posters here, Rinaldo should absolutely be dressed for this game.

SNW. Once again SN drops the ball on a game that nationwide would draw good ratings.
