Monahan really needs to step it up. I'm tired of seeing him turnover the puck.

Flames broke the losing streak, but still haven't had the lead in a game for more than 400 minutes. I guess that streak continues next game. Hopefully that's the next negative streak to break.

They’re still struggling to make or take passes but I like the fact that they didn’t fold their tent after the second period.

Fair. I feel that Gaudreau is a bigger problem with turnovers.

Today, as well as a few times lately, Johnny has been seen busting his ass on the backcheck, and that deserves mention.

for me the player of the game was Mangiapane - he jump and tenacity all with a broken nose

Rittich was fantastic too - but he has to learn how to handle the puck behind the net and trying to do to much with it - too many brutal goals this year

Maybe his nickname should be Gritter.

I noticed that.
Glad to see that he's putting in the effort.
I can live with him never being a strong defensive player, but I want to see an effort.

Flames had no business winning that game. Lucky to get any points. Hard to believe the players take any positives from that game. That was horrible to watch, especially from a team that you might consider desperate.

Johnny and Mony need a demotion or to sit in the press box. Top line should be Tkachuk-Lindholm-Mangiapane.

Litterally noone would disagree with most of what you just said, but that post is one seriously crappy way to celebrate the team finally grinding out a victory and snapping a terrible losing streak.

The positive would be that they actually won. No matter how or why, they got 2 points. That is better than they've accomplished in the last 6. Baby steps.
