Last year they was good rushing and late D joining to attack. But this year D can't even get out from our zone. 2nd pair getting hammered in the zone.

the team is just overall lazy. Lazy stupid penalties that cost us goals, lazy stupid giveaways 2 feet from the blue line, lazy stupid dump ins with zero effort to forecheck, lazy stupid board battles that they virtually always lose, lazy back check and watching as the other team zips the puck around with ease.

This team is a joke outside one player, but unfortunately the goalie can’t win you every game, especially when you go almost 20 full minutes without getting a single shot on goal.

Tre has assembled a good team.
Peters is a good coach ... you don’t finish #1 in the west 20 games ago if you are a poor coach.
Johny, Mony and the rest of the core are elite players.

The effort and execution has been disgusting and that falls on the players. Peters or Tre can’t make Johny go for a defensive steal vs leaving the zone prematurely. They can’t force Tkachuk to not take stupid penalties. They can’t make Brodie move the puck sooner. It’s all effort and I expect a Gio locker room meeting soon.

Time to go back to Lindholm Monahan and Gaudreau and the 3M line. Let then figure it out themselves, take away ice time and remind them, effort earns ice time. You don’t have to score every shift but you best look like you are leaving it all on the line.

Well, considering all the comments in the game thread and here in the post game thread, I think we should just shoot them all. Coaches and GM too. No one is any good. They all don't care. They have no heart. They are all losers. Let's slander them too.

They are struggling. Point out the errors for sure. But this vitrol is pretty embarrassing for a fan base that used to be known for measured responses.

If the Flames don't make the playoffs, Monahan and Gaudreau should be gone. I would also sell high on Giordano if the Flames are way out of the playoffs this March.

Keep Lindholm, Tkachuk, Andersson, Hanifin, Kylington as the core. Get rid of the rest of the crap.
