Oh Burke. 'You can't shove an official, but.........' and goes on to describe the play leading up to Kane shoving the linesman. But Burke doesn't blame Kane for being upset. But admits he shoved him. Well can you shove an official or not Burkie?
Going to be a painful season if we have to listen to stuff like that every Wednesday night.

Only game 1 of the season and already I can't stand watching Burke. I know that a lot of you guys really like him but I just don't enjoy watching him during the intermissions.

Im curious as to why this is.
I mean, he is doing his job. He is paid to give his opinion. He does that in spades.
Is it his appearance? His voice?
I love hearing from guys who have been there and done that...and there is very little that Burke hasn't done in the game of hockey.

I just don't like his delivery and the way that Sportsnet utilizes him. I understand and appreciate his knowledge and experience but he doesn't use it for dialogue or conversation but instead he simply preaches. He doesn't appear to be able to contribute to a panel discussion.

Ah, well that is totally different and would definitely change the odds.
If any OT is a tie, then based on last year, the odds of this ticket would be 88 to 1 which is a lot closer to the 70 to 1 payout.
