On overtime just now was mentioned that two former NHLers on SNET ranked the Flames 7th of 8 western teams in the playoffs......
Talk about no respect out there for these guys.
I think and hope we show them they're dead wrong.

The Flames should ultimately take this series. But to make it a quick one, I’d say...
- Don’t take any penalties because their PP is deadly at 7th in the league.
- Obviously they’ll have to keep Mackinnon, Rantanen and Landeskog in check
- Get to Grubauer early and plant that seed of doubt because he was brilliant to end last season, but hasn’t been great in the playoffs.
- For the Flames, they’ll need depth scoring, acceptable goaltending and both sides of special teams need a lot of work. The Flames finished off well below average on the PK at 21st and to a lesser extent, 18th on the PP.
