We should pull together some funds and get her to do a real post game report, complete with the "Edmonton es no bueno".

When Czarnik drops off, we’ve got the mighty Quine to call up from the farm.

Smith starts game one if the playoffs were today. Crazy times...

So much for the back half of a back to back being an advantage. Flames will galvanize every opponent for the Oilers this week.

Czarnik is like a lot of guys. If they played consistently like they sometimes do, they'd be top line guys. But they don't.

Depth lines more than pulling their weight, top line re-engaging, D are 2-way solid and Smith finding his mojo - bring on the Ducks for a Friday night Duck roast!

The 127th goal of Gaudreau's career. Was that the first one scored off a slap shot?

It sure was. Tipped off of a Chris Breen point shot.

Good game! Lindholm has quickly become my favorite flame, looking like Peter Forsberg out there. I love tkachuk but dont see the fit on the top line... need to figure something out with that.
I thought Bennett had a fantastic game, always outplaying guys in the o-zone, creating turnovers. I really *hate* that I'm even suggesting this but what about trying czarnik out up top?

Gaudreau-monahan-czarnik
Tkachuk-Lindholm-Bennett- have wanted to see this all season

It's still somewhat early for Czarnik though. I don't think he's quite defined what he will be at the NHL level yet, and very well could make a statement this spring after being given popcorn duty for much of the season.

I feel like he had one earlier this season as well.

I posted this last year, Jan 13th 2018:

He had this hilarious one last year:

Then this own goal deflection off a slapper the year before:

This legitimate slapper in FLA:

And tonight. So he has at least 4, and maybe only 2 legitimately clean slapper goals.

Peters on Backs.

"Backs.. You know Backs .. I know Backs. Our team doesn't dive. Diving isn't in our DNA. That's not how we play. Whats the score at the time? 4-2? We're going to dive?

Here's the scenario. Its 4-2. We should be going on the power play. That's the reality. I can't say a whole lot more then that. "

Game Takes:
Flames 4 Islanders 2

- Flames out play the Isles but need two third period goals to pull ahead
- Czarnik with three goals in three games
- New 2nd line keeps rolling
- Gaudreau snaps funk on PP

I think he needs to learn pretty soon. He's 26. He played 46 games in Boston and didn't figure it out for the next year.

After drawing the call, which should’ve been a double minor, for the PP which lead to JG’s goal.

And being under the skin of Boychuk, Lee and Barzal. And part of the cycle line thst stsrted the domination of the Isles.

Worth twice what the Flames are paying him, as he brings it every night.
