The Flames looked out of sync all night. Brodie and Gio not communicating on the second goal. Backlund with the sloppy play on the first goal. Even at the end on their final zone entry, the pass was off by a couple of feet.
Hanifin had a tough one with lots of bobbled pucks and Monahan was almost completely invisible. Tough night for the Flames, but so out of character and in pretty understandable circumstances. Obviously not the effort any of us want to see but familiar to any fans who have been watching the NHL for years.
On the bright side, I thought Quine was pretty good again along with Hamonic. In the couple of shifts before Dallas scored their second I felt like the Flames were starting to mount a comeback, but then they gave up a bad one leaving Faksa all alone in the slot.
Oh well, weak effort and they deserved to lose. Hopefully they use it as a wake up call as the class of the league comes to town on Thursday... can't wait!

Yeah but they have lost two to the Stars, two to the Canadiens, Canucks, Blues, and Oilers. Life could be so much easier if they could put away the bad/mediocre teams.
Might want to check the Wild and Stars home records, not an easy road trip

So I got a phone call about 4pm from the mother of my 7 year old that he was sick and wanted daddy. So I went to her place and cuddled with him and watched movies and missed the game. So did the frog. Sorry guys. By the sounds of it I didn't miss much.

That explains everything! We were missing the intangible Frog Power.

Should be a great game on Thursday as the elite teams seem to bring the best out of the Flames. I expect a high flying, and extremely entertaining game. Go Flames!
