You would have to think they are trending in opposite directions too with McDavid being strangled in the Hitchcock trap.

One thing about CBJ, those jerseys are absolutely beautiful

Those two teams went on to win the next two Stanley Cups. Let's hope history repeats itself.

Right now we're winning games in every possible way. Low scoring, high scoring, comebacks, hanging on to one goal leads, just squeezing wins out of everywhere consistently. This team is something else!

The Oilers have scored 9...over their last 5 games. As much as I love reading the salt from HF it's almost salt free tonight. Statements about the Flames actually being good and *gasp* better than the Oilers. Jealousy. I feel like these last couple days have actually broken the fans there. It's phenomenal.

Amazing come back, never say die attitude. Go Flames Go.

I dont wanna spoil the ATL but i loved this quote from HFOil.

Quote:
I'm not watching, just checking the scoreboard but how the **** do these Ronald Mcdonald wannabe ****s do this every. single. game.

Their roster is nothing impressive at all. It's not scary, nothing screams challenger for the top seed in the western conference, and their goaltending is average at best.

Baffling how every team in the league gets a multi goal lead on them and they fall asleep.

Flames have scored 5 goals in one period 4 times this year.

The Oilers have scored 5 goals in regulation in a game....3 times this year.

The starter for the Flyers that night? Bobrovsky. Pulled after 5 GA on 15 shots.

Whoa whoa whoa no one cares about the Jets here man
