With all due respect to Dave Randorf, but Bob Cole should have called tonight's Edmonton-Las Vegas game. It could have been his final appearance in Edmonton and his only time to call a game featuring these Golden Knights. I'm tracking the games Cole has called thus far this year and here's what I have:

10/6 - MTL at PIT
10/13 - PIT at MTL
10/20 - MTL at OTT
10/27 - PIT at VAN
11/3 - CHI at CGY
11/10 - OFF
11/17 - OFF
11/24 - BOS at MTL
12/1 - NYR at MTL
12/8 - PIT at OTT (prediction)
12/15 - OTT at MTL (prediction)
12/22 - NYR at TOR (Someone related to Cole confirmed he'll do this game. I found the tweet earlier today but lost the link of it as I was using my phone when I saw the tweet. If I find it, I'll put it here ASAP. Here it is - https://twitter.com/eastcoastcole/st...73442798141440 )

Surprised he won't call any Oilers or Jets games. That said, for 2018-19 NHL season featuring Canadian NHL teams, Bob Cole has called 6 MTL games, 3 OTT games, 1 CGY game, 1 TOR game, and 1 VAN game. Jeez, Rogers must be pretty harsh towards Cole, eh?

I see the Oilers are playing for the tie again tonight. They must be one of the worst teams in the league offensively at this point. They sure don't score a lot of goals.

I heard that song when the flames were in LA too I was thinking why the f### would an arena full of mostly adults based on the day and time want to hear that, it actually made me mad lol then again I hear that song about 100 times a day

2-1 Oilers. Man, Vegas looks like crap tonight. Their passing is terrible, they have no forecheck whatsoever, and they can't seem to hit the net. Hard to believe this is the team that just rattled off 5 wins in a row and climbed back into the division race.

The Grease are now on the verge of winning 3 in a row. No doubt the hype train is gonna go into overdrive after this. Ugh, it's gonna be unbearable.
