Bennett needs big time credit in this game. Great game for him, and his fight showed so much emotion at home that we missed last year. He turned the tides tonight.

That game had disaster written all over it, but the Flames came out and took the Avs out to the woodshed in the third. Sam Bennett picked the right spot to lay a beat down on someone Good on you Benny. Overall, that was a great performance by the team, with a horrible performance by Mike Smith. He should be buying everyone a big steak dinner after that one. Mike Smith is still done, and the Flames need to move on and find a replacement for him.

The victory at Helms Deep does not belong to you, Mike Smith.

If he has a bad game go to Smith but the team really has to stop with this nonsense of believing Smith is still a starting goaltender. If the Flames are lucky he can settle into an okay backup like Roman Turek but his stats don't lie as he's been every bit as bad as they indicate.

Do I ever hate it when a player is called "garbage". Criticize the player, talk about flaws in the game, whatever. That just bugs me.

Couldn’t agree more. That was what the team needed, some to step up and ignite the gasoline. He didn’t even hesitate. I loved it.

What a game. Got home from work to catch the third. Huge comeback win.

I have a pet theory about Giordano; he is very very good.

Tkachuk with 3 assists tonight and keeps racking up the points.

3M Line broke out of their slump, goals from Backlund and a non-EN goal from Frolik.

Valimaki's hit to set up that Neal snipe was electric. I love this kid.

What a game! I don't even care that Smith was bad. No goalies are good when its 6-5.
