Nice win boys. Holy melt down at Leafs HF. They don't like losing at home.

Hamonic was quietly awesome tonight. If he plays like that the rest of the year it will be massive for the team. Nice partner to have out there with Hanifin.

After the Caps game, I was pretty confident they would play a good road game in TO. Perfect road game. Smith played well enough to deserve the shutout.

The last five minutes of that game was am embarrassing display of what NHL officiating has become.

Take it to Buffalo tomorrow, and help Rittich get his first SO.

So do Stone apologists still think parking 3.5 million in the pressbox to be our #7 defenseman is a good idea?

Seriously, that penalty to put the Flames down two men was one of the worst there has been in a while. First, Gio didn’t push the net off on his own, though I’ve seen players do that with no penalty. He pushed Tavares who nudged the net.

Two whistles later the ref had to put that same post back on.

Again, if that was a Leaf doing that and called to put the team down two, they would delay the second broadcast tonight until the Toronto sports media is able to break into the refs room to get answers.

On pace for 20 empty-netters. Them's some Grabner numbers.

Lol true.

Smith good?
TJ Brodie smart defensively?
Neal all around the net?
Team overall strong defensively?

Pretty much invalidates most of the last couple pages of threads.

Living in Leaf territory always makes it sweeter when we beat the buds. I will have a few grumpy neighbors tmrw... I will try to control my neverending grinning.

Incredible!
Toronto was one of our graveyards. It's too bad it had to be that d*****nozzle Kadri who scored, but the scoreboard more than negates that.

Maybe the leafs aren't the greatest collection of athletes of all time, eh media sycophants?

8 high danger chances against. Didn't even feel like that many, but much better.

That’s the type of defensive effort we need every night. The opposition looked like they didn’t bother to show up most of the night, but I liked how they contested everything. First line was dominant, their defense was surprisingly good too. Good to see CP whipping boys Smith and Brodie having outstanding games.
