Boston absolutely killed it with their picks if you consider just the players themselves and not what they contributed to Boston specifically. Three All-Stars, one being the only non-goalie Conn Smythe winner of the losing Stanley Cup team who also held the record for most total goals in a season until Bossy and another winning the WHA Norris equivalent for best defenseman, their worst pick still played over 550 games, who also happens to have his own record - worst plus/minus ever.
Avalanche's 1998 was also pretty great. Two 1000 game players in Regehr and Tanguay. Skoula played 750 games.
Montreal didn't do too bad getting All-Star Shutt and also 4-time Vezina winner Michel Larocque (Alright, I'm cheating here).
Almost have to give the Islanders a pass on theirs since it was 1999. Connolly and Pyatt were pretty much the best (reasonable) picks available to them, just 1999 sucked. Their other choices were players like Lundmark and Beech.
