If this isn't the final nail in Mike Stoops OU coffin then I don't know what else he can do to get fired. This program will never be top tier again as long as there.

Mike Stoops has been fired as Oklahoma’s defensive coordinator. Long overdue.

LSU thumps No 2 Georgia 36-16. That was as impressive a performance as any team has had this season.. Ed Orgeron is now 5-2 vs Top 10 opponents since leaving Ole Miss.

Penn State loses to Michigan State by allowing a last minute TD.
Oregon beats Washington. Georgia loses. ND barely hung on to beat Pitt. Tough day for the top 10.

James Franklin is a phenomenal recruiter but a really bad coach in big moments

Pitt, oh so close. Would have loved to see them knock off Notre Dame.
Still another wild weekend with Auburn, Washington, Georgia, and West Virginia all going done to shake things up. Michigan looked very good in a beat down of Wisconsin. Texas wins again but may have lost their QB.
The Big 12 race is now wide open again, the PAC 12 is consuming itself and becoming a non factor in the playoff equation. We now have a pretty clear cut top 4 teams but if one of them stumbles (and with a lot of games left there is a good chance one or two of them will) it get's interesting. Things typically sort themselves out by the end but this is fun to watch.

You see it happening already with players skipping bowl games when they are entering their draft year. It sucks but it's probably not surprising it comes to this.
Wonder if schools can re-allocate a scholarship when this happens mid way through the season?
One thing I like about the NHL is how the draft is conducted and the rules around it. I wish the NFL and NBA would do the same although a lot probably has to do with timing of the seasons (pro vs. amateur).
NHL has a draft year (age) where everyone is eligible. NFL/NBA you have to declare and IIRC once you do that you cannot return to college. NHL, players can return to junior if they do not make the team. College players cannot do so, once they leave college and sign a contract they lose their eligibility.

Devin Bush kicked and tore up the Spartan logo on the midfield turf at Michigan State. The classless idiot was also involved in a pregame altercation. I'll laugh if the idiot gets clotheslined today.

Bama would probably drop 80 points on Tennessee today if Saban left Tua in all game.
