As much as we'd like to make fun of GG becoming part of the Oilers, he'll probably make them a better team since he is in a lesser role. I liked him, just wasn't good enough for a head coaching job.

that is a very big IMO...BB has a pretty solid roster in Minny and has failed miserably. Like someone mentioned 2 more playoff wins.

Lots of new coaches. Funny thing is that they will all have to bow to the wishes of the Edmonton "old boys club" like every coach before them. When it comes right down to it, Katz is a fanboy owner. Everything runs through him. With that said, is Katz going to go the direction that a Yawney or Gulutzan want to take the team if it doesn't line up with the ideas of of one of his Oiler super action figures Kevin Lowe or Craig MacTavish. I don't think so.
