Langenbrunner lead the NHL in playoff scoring in 2003 with 18 points. Kopitar wasn't far ahead when he put up 20 points to lead the playoffs in 2012. Pastarnak has 17 points, potentially 18, as of the first game of the second series...

Luckily, Pasternak and Marchand are on different pool teams.

Yeah, and I’ve seen the articles discussing when to pull and the one where they say 6 min is a good time. That is extrapolation and poorly reasoned.
Just because people do it doesn’t mean it isn’t dumb.

Marchand is in my CP pool
IIRC it was FurnaceFace who said I could have him.

I guess you are the only smart one.
Or maybe, down 3 goals, they figure they need that much time to come back and they have a good chance of getting one with a 6 on 4. If they scored, you'd see the goalie back in until the 2:30 mark.

Losing a skate blade for a goalie could be a safety issue. If he is trying to make a save without the traction of a blade, he could tear this groin/knee/something. Just like if his mask pops off, it is a safety issue.
Comparing it to players is not fair. If a players lid gets popped off, the play continues as it should.

That anthem was excruciating.

Is it just me, or is the butchery of the US national anthem a rather commonplace occurrence?

There's only a few regular anthem singers that seem to pride themselves on singing a nice, respectful rendition.
So many try and make it an American Idol audition or something. Usually really cringeworthy.

Score is 1-0 before the Bruins have a chance to register a shot on goal.

5-on-3 for the Bruins now and Vasilevsky looked rattled after taking the last shot off the head.

5on3 PP are not automatic goals anymore. Teams defend them well.

McAvoy ties it!
From Bergeron and Marchand.
That's 2 points for the CP pool.
