He signed with them before the playoffs after his College season ended.

He's a monster.

Taken 3 picks before the Flames took Rasmus

Surely Holtby can't be worse than Grubauer? That 2nd Blue Jackets goal was way too soft for the playoffs.

Yes and no. With how much special teams fluctuate from one year to the next for a lot of teams, it makes me think they are fairly easy to fix going into a new season.

Jones is such a stud. It's amazing to think the Preds gave him up and still have the best D in the league by a country mile.

3-3 in Washington. Does anybody think it is like watching Flames hockey when you watch Washington play except PP?

Lmao not even close.

Caps are a great team top to bottom. Grubauer has let them down today.

I feel for Capitals fans as nobody knows playoff choking better than a Flames/Stamps fan. It's demoralizing to know the regular seasons don't matter because your team can never get it done in the playoffs.

Nah, Great team with not effective system. If you watch them closely it is exact GG system. Not generating tons of great chances, when they get puck in their D they usually shoot puck for tip unless there is no pressure.

Fair point

Like the goal Werenski just scored, the Flames never had that happen on their PP this year

Only two low danger goals for, worst in the league

That knee injury looked bad for the linesman.

If the Caps do choke out this year, do they start the rebuild/retool era?

Depends which round they exit and how they exit... But man, Oshie has 7 more years on his deal.... Most people on CP were saying he'd be a bad free agent signing last year

Any chance we can get more studio equipment from the ceiling to fall in Doug Maclean?

If they do, can we trade Bennett for Ovy?
