I didn't watch, but happy for the win. Feels like a 100 years since they beat the oilers.
Heard by text that the reffing was infuriating, and judging by some earlier comments in the thread, I guess people here are confirming. Pretty unbelievable that the NHL can't get a handle on that, as it's costing them fans. I don't think they even try to improve it in any meaningful way.

I thought he was fantastic. If/when this team makes the playoffs he'll be a huge factor for them.

Smith going god mode the rest of the way would be quite helpful. Amazing game by him
Thought the team played very physical tonight. Good win without Tkachuk as well.

Smith now speaking highly of the team, excellent to hear.
Thank Christ, I ate 6 pieces of fried chicken out of anxiety. Liked the way the Flames played physically in the third.
So happy.

Not sure it was a must-win, but it was close, so huge victory. Keep it going.

It was. For many reasons. Smith got his mojo back which is 99% of it.
Flames have had this mental block with the Oilers since Mcdavid entered the league.
Getting two points tonight gives them a very nice launchpad into the final 11 games. It's a little less stressful fighting for two points against the cali teams now as theyre right there. two more W's and bam.
This was the must win game of the final stretch if they were going to launch an attempt at securing a playoff spot.

Solid effort from all, but Smith... tenacious. Showed some strength after a stumble, props to him. Guy deserves some rounds in the playoffs.

If the oil can beat the Sharks tomorrow, a win over San Jose on Friday would mean the flames are 1 point back of them.
I still believe.

I thought Bennett played a great game tonight. He looked like he was motivated to show he belongs in the top 6.

Dallas on a nasty road trip right now. Lost tonight, still have to go to Winnipeg, Toroto and Washington.
I still believe.
