Dominant period by the Flames. Sens are lucky it's only 1-0. Flames need to strike quickly to get that 2nd goal though. Don't want to let Ottawa hang around too long.

It's still something to keep in mind as we'll have a real test with San Jose and Vegas coming up, but I was admittedly more negative than I should have been last game thread. I think it was just frustration from the previous games carrying over.

I was very impressed by the fourth line. Really solid work. I think, if anything is to be criticized, the third line was not quite in sync with each other although they made individually good plays. A few times Tkachuk put passes where he thought Backlund was going but he was wrong, and vice versa.
