Only three call ups remaining I think.

Well at least that fourth line of Glass-Stajan-Hathaway will have something to play for. Because it will likely be all three player's last year in the NHL.

If the games didn't matter so much I wouldn't hate seeing Glass out there. He's a little wreckless, throws hits and fights. Adds some excitement but he doesn't add anything else, and the games do mean a lot, so...

Glass likely in because they’re against his old team

Big opportunity for Gillies. If he can take the ball and run with it, I still like Rittich in a backup role (until Smith gets back). Stranger things have happened with rookie goaltenders...

Hathaway has a future as a 4th liner I think, if Glenn hasn't 'coached' it out of him yet. The other two shouldn't be playing in the NHL right now so agree on them.

Hathaway is a fringe NHLer who will be 27 next year. He is who he is. I am rooting for him, but his future is far from bright. I can't imagine he will play a full season for any team next year.

Bottom 6 is a disaster.

Ferland and Versteeg can't get back soon enough. Shore in place of Stajan will help. Hathaway no longer helps us. When did Glass become an NHL player again? Stewart looks like his non-factorness has carried over from the Wild and I think needs to get some practices in with the team to find his role before getting into some games.

This.
And grumbling about him replacing Lazar is splitting a very fine hair, more complaining for the sake of it.

Feel.good about this one. Sounds like Versteeg and Ferland and Smith are likely to be on the road trip too.

Hope our goalies don't let us down as they have the last two games with ill timed, below average, goals against.

Bennett-Monahan-Gaudreau
Tkachuk-Backlund-Frolik
Ferland-Jankowski-Versteeg
Stewart-Shore-Brouwer

Gio-Hamilton
Brodie-Hamonic
Kulak-Stone

Smith

That is probably the best lineup we can ice when healthy. I wonder if we'll ever actually see it?

I've given up on the Flames chances are making the playoffs. They aren't going to go on the required tear to make it into it.

Despite that, would be nice to see a win still. But not expecting it.

I sadly agree. Even if they squeaked in they look prime for an early first round exit yet again

Seriously? They're only 1 point out. There's still a better than average chance of making it, provided they can get their s**t together over these last 17 games. Have some faith!
