Spoiler!

A satisfying win, and hopefully the start of another big hot streak!

The espn.com boxscore lists Bartkowski out with ruptured tendons in his leg. Did I miss this news? Or is it wrong?

Great win. Johny was really lucky on his goal to not get called on the hook or have the devils score on the break from his turnover. Took 2 negatives and put it into 1 huge positive. That was one of those plays if against the flames, we as fans would be losing it over.

I know nobody else will say it but I will.

Brodie and Hamonic played a great game.

Brodie the last 5 games. 7 points and a plus 5.

I’m no expert but that is not to bad for someone who should run out of town by some CPers..

New scoring winger should be paired with Tkachuk and Backlund. Need Tkachuk to clear the front of the net, and Backlund to work slick passes with the new winger. Janko and Bennett are lost right now and aren't making noise. They need Frolik back there to create calm plays, those two need a on-ice mentor in the worst way.

2 games left in the current 7 game segment and the flames just need 2 points to win it.

Agreed especially Hamonic.
Thought he had a tremendous game very solid defensively.

Good grief is our 1st line outstanding. Hamilton (mistake aside) and Giordano (mistake aside) had an excellent night of hockey. Hamonic was also great.

I really hope we get another good scoring winger. Line up the new acquisition alongside Janko and Bennett, then push Brouwer back down to the 4th line...and then hopefully the pressbox when Versteeg returns.

Get out there and beat the blueshirts tomorrow!
Team might be able to do damage if they can get one more consistent weapon to help pace that third line to some production (sorry Burke, I don't necessarily think that's Versteeg, but he'd be fine with Stajan and the PP).

Especially since their path could be a little lighter than if they were in other divisions. LA/SJ would be beatable. If they want to push deeper than a round they're going to have to help out their forward depth, without a doubt. The first line and Tkachuk can't be the only reliable producers.

I think I've figured out Monahan's secret.

He has 2 extra arms.

I thought Brodie was really good tonight. And yeah, 7 points in 5 games.

Monahan has more goals than Poolparty and Draisaitl combined

Monahan with another GWG (garbage winning goal). Puts him tied for 4th in the NHL in goals?!?

EDIT: Kucherov, Tavares and Lee all scored their 28th goal tonight so Monahan currently tied for 7th with 27 (Karlsson/VGK still playing).

PS. Stupid Devils. Totally missed the opportunity to gain momentum by giving us a few power plays. Their coaches should be fired.

Fair point, my biggest desire is to just see a good player join their line - and Frolik is certainly that, but I'm not sure I'd break up the 3M line. Their match ups will only get harder as we get closer to the playoffs. Bennett and Janko have enough of their own struggles, so having to deal with Brouwer on their line is clearly asking too much from them.

86% possession for the Devils in the 3rd. That's beyond horrific and a heck of a way to erase 2 good periods. Thankfully it didn't go that way...but eesh...86%?
