Rittich (less puck handling) + road Flames is our best hope for tomorrow.

GM Tre biggest concern near the end of the off-season is coming to the fore front. He wasn't sure where the goals were going to come from and he was right. Losing Frolik and Versteeg does not help.

Yeah, the Flames have actually not done this very often.

This was a frustrating game. The team played well the powerplay looked good. Lost on bounces.

Onwards and upwards. Kill the Oilers tomorrow.

GFG.

Stupid plays, useless PP and we ruin Sam Bennett. Does not look good for BOA tomorrow. The Oilers is going to smother us 5 - 0.

Neither team played all that well.

Flames hit two posts in this game. Very close to being a different game a couple times.

I just don’t understand why they played the OT with so little energy and speed.

Very painful ending to watch live.

Exactly this. And at home to top it off. This OT loss would be easier to stomach if the Flames didn't @#$# the bed against the lowly Sabres.

When is the last time a team ever fired an asssitant coach during a season? It doesn’t happen. There will be no Cameron replacement this year.

This team makes me sad. We have a huge part of the core locked up on team friendly deals and we are stuck with this sad sack coaching staff.

This team is in first place in the Pacific with a competent group behind the bench.

Really can't be that pissed off about the results.
I don't know how you can watch how the last three games played out and not be pissed off.

Pathetic effort. You aren't going to win games when you only score a goal a game. Smith cannot do everything.
And yet, we were still by far the best team on the ice. You stare with homer glasses at our awful play, but in the end, they held the edge in play across the board against a solid team. Sloppy OT and as usual, garbage PP are the story here, otherwise it was an ok game. Boring, but ok.

Now get the hell away from the dome and start winning again for Christ’s sake.

This team is just way to over rated. I've seen some many #### teams over the years but for what ever reason this is one of the most frustrating and boring to watch. I feel sorry for people who spend their hard earned money going to these games.

Not gonna push panic buttons when they get half the maximum points.

It's not settling for mediocrity. It's being realistic about the result. Try it sometime.

Setting the bar low is a coping mechanism.

Not how I see it
Teams have adjusted to how they defend the Flame in overtime and particularly Johnny
Now the Flames have to adjust back
Lack of finish doesn’t mean lack of killer instinct. It means lack of finish

One could also suggest that the Flames overtime record was an outlier and they are coming back to the mean
