Get the power play to even league average and I think this will be a top 3 team in the west in the second half. Easier said than done I guess.

Refs think cuz Johnny is small he goes down too easily, has been like that most of his career. It's what it is, NHL reffing just sucks.

You can't believe the Flames didn't get a favorable call, late in a game? How long have you been a Flames fan?

Two penalties should be been called on Suter that last sequence.

Gaudreau gets crapped on around here when the team loses but simple fact is that the guy is on pace for 97 points and that's about as much as you can reasonably expect. Top 10 in scoring.

This team needs secondary scoring outside of the top line to really move up in the standings.

Underrated play on the OT goal was Giordano. Suter had to rush his shot because Gio hustled back hard to get some pressure on him. Then Gio hustled into the corner, won the puck and fed it down the ice to Johnny.

Great play by the captain.

Also, LOVED the emotion by Johnny when they confirmed it as a good goal. He was fired up and I love seeing that.

The power play did look a little better IMO. Better puck movement. They could have easily had two with a couple bounces. And Minnie has a great PK. So maybe things are improving despite the lack of goals tonight.

I swear the Flames look great, until we get a PP or two and it seems to kill their mojo. If the PP comes together, this team has potential.

Wish they held on in regulation and not give the wild a point but 2 points always better than 1 or 0.

Smith was very strong, and top line scored on some nice plays.

We're getting there in the standings folks!!! YES, almost double digit points ahead on that clusterF up north (oh and finally back in a playoff spot soon hopefully).
