Chuckling at the folks who thought the Rams were going to put up 30+ on the Falcons D. Only one team did that all year (the Seahawks with Wilson in God mode in a game the Falcons won). If Philly still had Wentz I would be doubtful for next week but against Foles I think this team can grind out another road win.

I hate team sports. Time to watch more golf and tennis. That or time to stop cheering for teams in red and gold.

Tough loss for Alex Smith. 24 of 33 with 5 drops. Butker misses a kick he makes 85% of the time. He'll be sent out of town for next to nothing and be regarded as a choker.

Atlanta looked good from what I saw of their game.

Brutal game so far, there’s been more ad breaks than first downs.

Screen pass on second AND third down? Coaches have no faith in Bortles

Worse is that the QB can't even make the simplest passes in the play book. Just awful. Little doubt Eli Manning will be their QB next season IMO.

I don’t understand why coaches don’t call runs on the 1 on 1st down, especially with McCoy as your back, idiotic.

1st and goal from one and a half yards out and they throw it? Coaches need to stop outsmarting themselves.

Good grief...i realize the defenses are playing lights out on both sides, but Buffalo's play calling with a 1st and goal from the 2 was atrocious. You have McCoy and 250lb MIke Tolbert in the backfield...just turn around and hand the freakin ball to them...chances are really really good you get across the line for a TD.

Awful.

Man I don't think the Jags are going to win this game. Bortles is horrible.

Said it for a long time that the Jags are frauds. Sure that D is legit, but as long as the Bills don't turn it over giving the Jags good field position they should win this game.

Both these teams show why teams are so desperate for QB play. Jacksonville in particular is basically the Broncos with Tebow a few years ago, with a decent QB they could be right there with New England.

I had no idea how nasty and dirty this Jags defense is...unreal.

Looks like we are heading towards a Patriots vs Steelers showdown in a couple of weeks. Neither of these two teams or the Titans will put up much of a fight next week.

I think we were heading towards a Patriots-Steelers AFC showdown from about week 4 of the regular season.

The only caveat I'd say, from having a Steelers fan best friend and thus having watched a tonne of Pitt games with him lately, is that team notoriously plays down to their opponents. They look good against good teams (unless they're in Foxboro), and awful against awful teams.

But agreed, if it's anyone but NE or Pitt out of the AFC I'd be stunned

For sure but I don't think the games will even be competitive likely 10+ point spreads for both games. NFC has much more compelling matchups.

Jacksonville has already beaten Pittsburgh on the road. With a defense this good you just need a few turnovers and a few big plays from Bortles and it can be done. But the AFC playoffs are basically the JV playoffs this year, NFC holds all the intrigue.
