SAP Center has the worst lighting for TV broadcasts in the NHL, it’s like tuning in to a game in Moose Jaw.

Travel days can be a pain for teams as it is, could you imagine having to wait in line to go through security and customs?... at a private gate customs comes on board to verify the flight manifest with those on board which is a major convenience of flying charter through a private terminal.
So yes, you are likely imagining it. Perhaps you seen a couple players flying without the team but the team itself, a pro team, would never fly coach. Always charter. Charter planes don’t depart the international terminal as well.

I guess seeing all 23 players and coaching staff is imagining things.
I have seen the whole team multiple times at the US terminal. The last time I saw them at least half of them bought Thai food for the plane at the Thai restaurant.
Do you even live in cgy ?

Well I don’t think it will be the score after OT or a shootout 😏

What does me living in Calgary have to do with anything? Are you trying to bring up the fact that I no longer live in Calgary as a way of trying to distract from the pint that you’re wrong?
Take someone pics next time you see the entire team gettinthai food at the airport. I’m sure they love being a spectacle and trying to book seats for a standard travel aircraft for all 23 seats. I hope they can also get enough seats together especially for the guys who like to sit together. I sure hope they don’t have a Chatty Cathy sitting between Johnny and Monny while they are trying to get some sleep...

The Flames fly charter (Air Canada Jetz). Charter flights can operate at the main terminal. The Flames have flown from the main terminal on occasion. Not often, but it happens.

This is true, AC Jazz does fly a charter from the main terminal. And knowing how messed up charter aircraft can get for bookings/availability.. But traditionally Shell Aero Cecnter FBO is the Flames principal provider for charter. Again, the Customs process from the main terminal is much longer for each player to go through when travelling internationally (Canadian Customs on Departure, US Customs upon arrival, lineups of everyday people as well, no “express” service..
Where are FBO charter, Customs comes on the plane and confirms “souls on board” and is outta there in a couple minutes..
can’t see the main terminal being used often.

I know all about that stuff. I spent 20+ years working at an airport managing these types of things. Back to the point of this debate...
AC7035 to San Jose left the YYC international terminal from gate E89. It happened yesterday! There’s a guy on twitter posting selfies of himself with Jagr, Monahan, Stone and Smith while they’re in the international terminal departure hall

CroFlames, I apologize, I am clearly wrong. You likely were not imagining it when you seen some flames or the entire team go through the main terminal. I guess I’ve been served some “Cro”?
