I disagree, including the non goal he let in 4 in the first period. It happens, I don’t hate him. But the change should have been made when it would have made a difference

Convert TJ Bartkowski to the wing, he has no defensive awareness.

I"m thinking the players just went "*&^%$ you coach - we're just gonna play."

Very different result. And motivation. Not sure GG did anything worthy of note the entire game.

Since when is 'rose colored glasses' an insult? Guy was merely asking if he always sees the upside.

I know Brodie had an awful game, but I feel like Hamilton is getting a free pass as a result. He had an awful game as well

Gio is Gio. Hamonic was fine this game. Stone/Kulak have been about as solid as you can expect a 3rd pairing to be. This team needs to get Brodie and Hamilton back on track if they want to be more than a playoff bubble team.

I wish Gullitzan would give the Brodie-Gio combo a try. That pairing was dominant in a way that Hamilton-Gio just isn't. I don't care about the L-L, R-R issue it causes in the top 4. Something needs to change.

Van jumped ahead of us tonight and the Oil are now only 5 poimts behind not 9 if we had won.

Colorado is only 3 behind us and the Ducks are only 2 points.

One good stretch of stink say 3 or 4 games and that may be enough to really hurt the team.

Nah, Oilers had 3-4 cross bar, and 3-4 break away. I should mention that. I guess.

This is absolutely true. There are some on here that make fun us that harp on that point but it's true. There is something about playing on the opposite side that makes Brodie more comfortable. There's no doubt about that fact. Yet Gulutzan refuses to make the adjustment because of some analytic driven belief that the L-R combo is the ONLY way to run your defense. Well, you reap what you sew and Gulutzan has transformed a previous team Canada candidate into a nervous, insecure shadow of his former self.

This loss stings because it was against a team which is bottom five in the league. No real implications in the standings.

The fact is EDM is without two of their top defencemen and their number one goalie. CGY #### the bed again against a depleted opponent. It's an organizational embarrassment. They play ugly stupid hockey and all the talk and platitudes are old and pathetic.

The players lay duds. They have no excuse. Chicken#### hockey. The leaders of that team do not lead. They are mentally weak.

Yup. Easy to say in hindsight, but if Johnny can even get it on net, there's a 50/50 chance it gets through Brossoit with the way he was playing.

At least they made a game out of it in the third period. Too bad they didn't show up in the first two periods but I am happy they played a lot better in the 3rd period. It's amazing how so many posters were blaming pretty much everyone including Gulutzan and Treliving. The whole team stank and pretty much abandoned Mike Smith. Way too many mistakes. Only beef I have is the 1st line power play. I think they should abandon the 4 forwards and 1 defenseman in the PP. Put Michael Stone with Brodie as point men. The two of them seems to have chemistry together. Let Gaudreau try to make some plays close to the net. Brouwer is useless on that PP. Brouwer on PP means you have to move Ferland, Monahan and even Gaudreau out of ther usual position.
Anyways I would have been really ticked off if they just quit in the 3rd period. Coming back in the 3rd and almost tying the game I feel much better even if they lost.
