I watched the Oilers game last night and there is no way Edmonton had 40 shots on goal.

Their shot clock is starting to look worse than the Staples centre.

It’s awesome though to be a product of their own inflated advanced stats and continue to lose. I hope the trend continues.

I really liked the way the Caps played McDavid last night. The flames could take some notes. No space, don't be scared to hit him and if he goes for a skate let him do laps around the outside.

I also liked the way the capitals attack the net. Clean passes/ drops to a trailer and the guy dropping the puck goes straight to the front of the net. Watching this game after the Dallas game on Friday made me realize how little puck support we play with and how much time we spend on the outside. Washington is a shadow of what they were, but we will lose today if we don't match that aggression to get into the dirty areas.

He's just a slightly better Sean Monahan ()
This is an incredible post. Haha. It's the next day and I'm still laughing about it. Sums up the state of CP this week.

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

The Sharks end their eastern road trip with another victory, 3-2 over the Sabres. Couture scores the GWG with 3:52 left in reg time and back up goalie Aaron Dell gets the win making 31 saves.

Toffoli is the man getting both goals including that skate off winner in OT, 2-1 Kings. Both goalies played well. Thank you Philly for beating the Leafs 4-2. Can't blame Babcock for being upset at the missed interference call which led to a Flyers goal. The Habs beat the Rangers 5-4 in reg time in a battle slumping teams. Price is still not looking great in net and the Habs blew a 3-0 lead. Pavelec was solid in the Rangers net as he faced 43 shots and made some excellent saves.

The Avs continue to surprise many as they beat the Bhawks 6-3. Good recovery by the Avs from the night before. Bernier faced 42 shots in the win. Coyote Ugly continues as Arizona can't win, Devils beat them 4-3 in reg time. Getzlaf with 3 assists and Rakell with 2 goals, Ducks win 4-1 in Tampa Bay. Howard was the star for the Red Wings 4-3 SO win against the Panthers, he faced 47 shots!

The Wild win 2-1 in reg time as they shut down the Penguins offensive stars. The Blues beat the BJs 4-1, Jake Allen with 36 saves in the win. LOL at the stupid Oilers, yay Capitals on the come from behind 4-2 win.
