Yeah I've never seen an organization reward failure like the Jets. Make the playoffs once in six years and reward your GM by extending him and the head coach that's made the playoffs once in four years.

I wish Laine had been drafted by another team. It can be so depressing to watch. I remember last year when the Flames system finally clicked after a tough start - the Jets never clicked, they just continued their sad hockey month after month, and apparently nothing's changed.

Not really sure that’s on Mason - not the greatest goal but you can’t let guys have wide open one timers from right in the slot.

Jets don’t necessarily give up a ton of shots but they give up a high portion of dangerous scoring chances - likely why all their goalies look like crap.

I like Maurice since his days as the coach of the leafs but he simply is unable to generate results that are greater than the sum of the team's parts. They have so many great individual talents but unable to put it together.
