Wonder why they play this in Penticton every year with zero people in attendance? Could rotate between the team's cities and sell some tickets.

It's generally well attending on the weekend. Fun crowd. Its just the friday that is quiet.

If I recall correctly, they used to do that. I think one year it was in Red Deer.

I know the weekends are slightly better, but the last couple years this tournament has really died. I remember three years ago there were literally dozens of CP'ers alone making the trip.
Now it draws flies and you never see that rivalry of jerseys and excitement in the stands that it used to have. They should just rotate between the three actual team cities. It would great to check this out at say Winsport arena and I bet you'd see a pretty full building.
